Rodney C. Smith, President
Rod has more than 25 years of experience in various management positions in the workers’ compensation insurance industry. He was recruited as the vice president of claims for the start up of Missouri Employers Mutual. After building the claims department, he became vice president of underwriting and policyholder services. Prior to MEM, Rod held several management positions with the Workers’ Compensation Fund of Utah, including executive vice president/chief operating officer. As an independent consultant, he has worked with Deep South (a large MGA in Dallas, Texas) and the Arizona State Fund. Rod is a CPCU and has a master’s in public administration from Brigham Young University.

Scott Gradinger, Regional Sales Manager
Scott began his career in the insurance industry with the Hartford Insurance Company as a commercial underwriter and was promoted to underwriting supervisor. He moved to Ohio General as vice president, underwriting manager. After a period on the brokerage side with Trogdon and Associates, he joined First Specialty Insurance Corporation (a subsidiary of ERC) as an underwriting manager. He completed his company career with Benchmark Insurance Company and has more than 25 years of experience in the industry. Scott holds the CPCU and ARM designations and is a graduate of Baker University.

Elizabeth Wilhelm, Regional Sales Manager
Beth has more than 35 years of experience in the insurance industry, most recently as the vice president/owner of Taylor Wilhelm Associates, providing insurance services and products to automotive dealers. She also has served as the vice president/owner of ES Insurance Agency, the president/owner of Downing Wilhelm & Tyler Insurance Agency and as an account executive of Lockton Insurance Agency, all in Kansas City. Beth is licensed in all lines of insurance.

Karen Bolden, Office Manager
Karen is also a veteran of the insurance industry. She has nearly 30 years of experience in insurance agency operations. She has worked for State Farm and GEICO in several support, servicing and sales roles. Karen is a licensed P & C producer in Missouri. She and the rest of the CCGA team are very excited to help you and your clients with your workers´ compensation insurance needs!
